Serine Fakih

Articling Student

Serine is an articling student at BLG’s Calgary office for the 2021-2022 articling term.

While in law school, Serine focused much of her efforts towards researching the interplay between advancing technologies and privacy law and the use and implications of technology by youth and police forces. Serine served as a peer mentor and an advocate for mental health. Prior to joining BLG, Serine worked in the legal department of the largest health authority in Canada. She has a passion for business and has developed a number of start-ups and charitable organizations that assist the local community.

Serine was instantly drawn to BLG’s open and welcoming atmosphere. She was inspired by the charismatic people of BLG and their reputation for providing unparalleled services. The recruitment process convinced her that BLG was the place to launch her legal career.

Serine enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and friends, listening to crime podcasts, and indulging in Calgary’s extensive restaurant scene.
