Victoria is a student-at-law in BLG’s Calgary Office. She is interested in labour and employment and energy law.

During law school, Victoria worked for a large multinational oil and gas company and as a summer student in BLG’s Calgary office. As a law student, Victoria volunteered as VP Events for the Society of Law Students and as Project Lead for Pro Bono Students Canada’s The Consent Project. She also completed a semester of law school abroad at the University of Copenhagen. Prior to law school, Victoria worked in human resources for a global consulting firm and for a Calgary-based IT company. Victoria’s pragmatic approach to legal work is heavily influenced by her diverse personal and professional experiences.

Victoria chose BLG because she was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of everyone she met during the recruitment process. She also enjoyed hearing about the experiences of other students and how they were encouraged to try work in any area of interest.

In her spare time, Victoria loves hiking in Kananaskis, training for her next half marathon and trying new restaurants with her friends. She can also be found whipping up sweet treats in her kitchen.
