Stephen completed a bachelor’s degree in Political Science before heading to Law School. As a student, he has developed a particular interest in debate, both by training a team to compete in a national moot tournament, as well as being head judge and executive committee member for his Faculty’s annual debate competition. He also served on the Law and Technology Committee where he co-directed a project on access to justice focused on reducing wait times in Montréal courts.

Prior to joining BLG, Stephen worked at a law firm where he contributed to a variety of mandates pertaining to labour and employment issues, as well as corporate law. He is actively implicated in his community where he coaches his local hockey team and volunteers on the Queen Elizabeth Health Complex’s annual fundraising committee.
