Asma is an Articling Student at BLG’s Ottawa office.
As a Law Student, Asma was a Research Assistant at the Center for Health Law, Policy and Ethics at the University of Ottawa.
She also contributed in drafting and publishing a paper regarding the various tools available to hold corporate offenders accountable for corruption offences which was presented before the OECD.
Additionally, Asma was a student case-worker at the University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic. She volunteered with the NORTH clinic and organized events for the Middle Eastern Law Student Society.
Asma chose BLG for its outstanding mentorship program, where students have the unique opportunity to gain experience in several practice areas and continuously thrive in an intellectually stimulating environment.
In her spare time, Asma enjoys biking, discovering new hiking trails and thrift-flipping clothes.
