Geri Angelova

Articling Student

Geri is an articling student and aspiring litigator at BLG’s Toronto office.

During her time in law school, Geri was actively involved in oral advocacy competitions, both as an advocate and a coach. Geri was an oralist at the University of Toronto’s Grand Moot in 2021 and her team won the 2020 Wilson Moot Competition. Before joining BLG, Geri volunteered at Pro Bono Ontario, completed a fellowship at the Elizabeth Fry Society, and interned at the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights.

Geri knew BLG was the right fit for her during the recruit after meeting countless like-minded students, associates, and partners with the same passion for advocacy. As a summer student at BLG, Geri was exposed to a wide variety of practice areas and felt that her mentors were committed to fostering her interests and professional development.

In her spare time, Geri enjoys cycling, watching cooking shows, and singing karaoke with friends.
