Samantha Lo

Articling Student

Samantha is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2020-2021 term. Her primary focus is in business law.

In law school, Samantha acted as a peer mentor and research assistant in legal data science. She also led the Asian Law Students' Society at the University of Ottawa.

Currently, Samantha is a Student Director of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and is the co-chair of the Ottawa Committee.

Samantha worked at a human rights litigation firm in Toronto prior to joining BLG as a summer student.

Samantha chose to work at BLG because of the firm’s welcoming and inclusive environment. The lawyers at the firm prioritize mentorship and provide students with opportunities for substantive involvement in complex and stimulating work.

To balance out her time spent scouring the GTA for the best restaurants, Samantha stays active by running and kickboxing. She is also an avid sports fan and enjoys watching the Toronto Raptors.
