Katelyn is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2023/24 term. She is focusing on disputes.

As a law student, Katelyn worked as the Engagement Coordinator for the Dalhousie Student Advocacy Service. In this role she organized the mentorship program for 50 new advocates and continued to represent university students accused of academic misconduct, Student Code of Conduct violations and more. Additionally, she served as the Co-Chair for the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association which organized multiple events and initiatives supporting gender equity and diversity on campus and the greater community. Prior to law school, Katelyn taught new Canadians and young families how to camp and canoe.

Katelyn chose BLG because of the people and collaborative energy at the firm.

In her spare time, you can find Katelyn biking through the city, working on a sewing project or finding new coffee shops.
