Articling Student

Alex is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2022-2023 term. She is focusing on litigation.

In law school, Alex was a tutorial leader for both Legal Ethics and Advocacy, led the editorial team for McGill’s Journal of International Law, and participated in competitive mooting. She was the recipient of the James A. Woods Civil Litigation award, and attained Dean’s Honour List standing in her third year. Prior to joining BLG, Alex honed her advocacy skills while working in criminal defence. She has also published articles in philosophy and criminal law.

Alex chose BLG because of its extensive litigation practice, and for the opportunity to work with and learn from the talented people she met throughout the recruitment process.

In her spare time, Alex loves experimenting in the kitchen and sharing her culinary creations with friends. An avid hiker, Alex is also drawn to the outdoors and loves encouraging her friends and family to join her on backcountry trips.
