Summer Student

Courtney is a summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2021 summer term.

As a law student, Courtney serves as Vice President of Communications for Navigating Ottawa Resources to Improve Health, where she partners with medical students and social workers to connect newcomers to legal and health resources in the community. She is also a writing leader with the Legal Writing Academy and founding member of the Ottawa Legal Innovation Hub. More recently, she worked at ARCH Disability Law Centre, a specialty legal aid clinic, where she advocated for access to justice and disability in the workplace. Prior to law school, Courtney worked for three years as a management consultant.

Courtney chose BLG because of the firm’s welcoming and supportive environment. Having met many lawyers during her interviews, it became clear that the firm offered a breadth of exciting work for students to grow professionally. Alongside candid mentorship, BLG offered a place where students can carve their own niche practice area among smart and creative people.

In her spare time, Courtney loves to travel, cook, and peruse architectural and interior designs.
