Ashley Wong

Articling Student

Ashley is an articling student at BLG’s Vancouver office. She rejoins the firm after working at BLG as a summer student in 2020. She is focusing on business law.

As a law student, Ashley volunteered with Health Justice providing valuable legal research on coercive health care and the reform of BC’s Mental Health Act. Ashley also volunteered with the Victoria ID Project to assist vulnerable individuals in downtown Victoria with obtaining government-issued identification. Prior to joining BLG, Ashley worked as a summer student and legal assistant at a personal injury firm in Surrey.

Ashley chose to work at BLG because of the firm’s collegial and supportive environment, and its commitment to contributing back to the community.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys going to the gym, travelling with family and friends, and experimenting with cooking new recipes.
