Vincent practises in all areas of civil disputes, arbitration and mediation of civil disputes. He acts for a broad range of insurers, corporations and individuals. Vincent also manages major litigation files for international and national corporations and public bodies.

He has appeared as counsel at all levels of courts and tribunals in British Columbia, as well as the Supreme Court of Canada and Federal Court, Trial Division and Federal Court of Appeal.

Vincent was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2004 and is a Chartered Arbitrator and a Mediator.


  • Counsel for the successful appellant in Adam v. ICBC, 2018 BCCA 482, an important decision on the interpretation of provincial legislation involving highways and motor vehicle accidents.
  • Counsel at a three week disability insurance trial for the successful insurance company defendant in Wright v. Sun Life, 2015 BCSC 776, recently affirmed on appeal in Wright v. Sun Life, 2019 BCCA 18.
  • Counsel for the successful appellant in the Supreme Court of Canada in Ediger v. Johnston, 2013 SCC 18, a medical negligence case
