Duncan is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2023-2024 year, focusing on disputes.
Duncan is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University. Prior to law school, Duncan completed a doctorate in Neuroscience at McMaster University, followed by a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution. At law school, he was the Executive Editor of the Lincoln Alexander Law Review, a teaching assistant for Contract Law, and an upper-year mentor for Aboriginal & Indigenous Law. Duncan was also committed to student governance, both as a student representative on the Academic Committee, and as the student representative on the faculty’s Curriculum Committee.
Duncan chose BLG for a multitude of reasons, but primarily because of its ability to offer a diverse learning atmosphere, as well as its commitment to a positive student experience.
In Duncan’s spare time, you can find him experimenting in the kitchen, casually enjoying endurance sports, or deep in the woods of the Ontario Parks.
