Courtney is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office.
As a law student, Courtney served as Vice President of Communications for Navigating Ottawa Resources to Improve Health, where she worked with medical students and social workers to support newcomers in finding legal and health resources in the community. As well, she was a writing leader with the University of Ottawa’s Legal Writing Academy, a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow, and a founding member of the Ottawa Legal Innovation Hub. Before law school, Courtney worked as a management consultant in the health and social services industry.
Courtney chose BLG because of the firm’s welcoming and supportive environment. Having met many lawyers during her interviews, it became clear that the firm offered a breadth of exciting work for students to grow professionally. Alongside continuous mentorship, BLG offered her the opportunity to carve her own niche practice area.
In her spare time, Courtney loves to travel, cook, and explore architectural and interior designs.
