Jacqueline Yan

Étudiante

Vancouver

Jacqueline is an articling student at the BLG Vancouver office.

At law school, Jacqueline is an Allard Law Ambassador, Student Coordinator for the Hoop-Law Charity Basketball Tournament, and previously volunteered with the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program. Jacqueline is interested in business law and worked in the in-house legal team of an IT management consulting firm through participation in the Corporate Counsel Externship. She also worked at WorkSafeBC as a Review Officer Student Intern in the summer between her first and second year of law school.

Jacqueline was attracted to BLG due to the summer program’s emphasis on exploring a diverse range of practice areas, while also retaining the stability of a formal rotation structure and designated mentors. She ultimately chose to work at BLG after making strong connections with lawyers at every level of the firm during the recruitment process, ranging from summer students all the way up to partners.

In her spare time, Jacqueline enjoys exploring the outdoors hiking, practicing yoga, searching for new books to add to her reading list, and avidly cheering for the Vancouver Canucks.
