On September 1, 2016, Permobil completed its acquisition of Advanced Health Care Products Inc.'s assets.
With the acquisition, Permobil will invest to develop and further expand the reach of Advanced Health Care's leading rehab technology services serving countless more people in need and widening the product leadership position in Canada. AHC (Advanced Health Care), a distributor with many years' experience in Canada and Permobil, has had a long- term partnership. Among its other product lines, AHC has successfully sold products for ROHO, the global leader in seating solutions for wheelchair users. ROHO is owned by Permobil, and Canada is ROHO's number one market outside of the US.
