On June 20, 2018, at the Canadian Solar Industries Association Annual Conference and Exposition, the Ministry of Infrastructure in Alberta announced the commencement of the 135,000 MWh solar procurement strategy.

As part of the strategy announcement at the Conference, Government of Alberta Minister of Infrastructure Sandra Jansen noted that BLG “will be instrumental in a successful procurement process given their vast experience in the power and utilities sector across Canada.”
