On May 17, 2021, Matter Global Solutions Inc., a waste solutions company that converts solid and organic waste into clean energy, completed a long-term feedstock and digestate reciprocal agreement with Horseshoe Valley Ranch.
The partnership will focus on developing a large anaerobic digester project to convert agricultural feedstock into renewable natural gas for delivery to FortisBC under a 20-year RNG purchase agreement. Agricultural waste and crop silage will be used to maximize renewable resources, restore soil health and build a strong carbon capture system, while creating a sustainable farming business model in the Peace River region of British Columbia.
