In this session, we will use case studies to examine best practices in negotiating the termination agreement with an employee, as well pitfalls in this process that an employer should avoid. In particular, we will discuss the current state of case law on severance compensation and damages that may be included in a termination agreement, and also look at a number of potential solutions that can facilitate the quick and effective resolution of a termination case.
