May 29, 2019

12:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

Borden Ladner Gervais LLP
World Exchange Plaza 100 Queen Street, Suite 1300 Ottawa, ON, Canada K1P 1J9

Join BLG and our special guests for a thought-provoking CPD program containing 1.5 Substantive Hours (Mental Health and Resilience) and 1.5 Professionalism Hours (Privilege and e-Discovery). An application for accreditation of the Mental Health and Resilience program as Professionalism will be submitted and attendees will be informed of the decision prior to the program.

Panels will include:

Mental Health and Resilience: Our guest speaker, Dr. Susan Farrell (Clinical Director, Community Mental Health Program at the Royal Ottawa), will lead an informative session on mental health triggers and awareness cues that will also explore practical strategies and ideas to foster resiliency within ourselves and others.

Privilege Update: This panel will review recent case law on solicitor-client, litigation, settlement and other privileges including recent cases dealing with privilege claims in the context of investigations.

The e-Discovery Roller Coaster: When it comes to e-Discovery there is a right way, a wrong way and a lot of in-between. Listen to real-world experiences about e-Discovery hiccups and what we've learned from them.
