BLG Named Firm of the Year in Three Categories and Bruce Reynolds is Construction Litigator of the Year
Toronto (February 24, 2017) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) is pleased to announce that it has been recognized at the 2017 Benchmark Canada Awards as Construction, Insurance, and Medical/Health Firm of the Year. These awards highlight the exceptional work these groups performed for their clients throughout 2016.
Benchmark also honoured Bruce Reynolds, FCIArb., as Construction Litigator of the Year. He is the Chair of BLG's International Construction Projects group and recently acted as Counsel for the Ontario Government to conduct an independent expert review of the Ontario Construction Lien Act.
The Benchmark Canada Awards recognize the top litigation lawyers and firms across the country for the significance of their cases during 2016, including potential precedents set and particularly notable results. The awards are based on extensive interviews with litigators and their clients. The fifth annual awards ceremony was held yesterday evening in Toronto.
