Kelly Friedman Joins BLG’s Toronto Office.
Toronto (January 11, 2018)— Borden Ladner Gervais LLP ("BLG") is pleased to announce that Kelly Friedman has joined the Discovery Services Group as National Counsel.

Ms. Friedman is an experienced litigator with unique expertise in data management issues, including electronic discovery, cybersecurity, privacy and anti-spam regulation. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, the Supreme Court of Canada and administrative bodies such as the Ontario Energy Board. Kelly is the co-editor of an international code of practice for electronic discovery standard, ISO/IEC 27050-3: 2017, and is currently Chair of the Precedents Subcommittee of the Ontario E-Discovery Implementation Committee, which prepares model electronic discovery documents to guide litigators and the judiciary in Ontario.
As BLG moves to enhance and develop its in-house e-discovery capabilities to further add value for its clients, Ms. Friedman will be managing and implementing the Firm’s e-discovery strategy, including analysis and strategic review.
