Toronto (August 24, 2020) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) welcomes Daniel J. Michaluk, who is joining the firm as partner in its Corporate Commercial Group. Dan will be based in BLG’s Toronto office.
“Dan’s extensive experience in the privacy, cybersecurity and freedom of information legal areas will be an asset to BLG’s clients,” said Frank Callaghan, national group head of the firm’s Corporate and Capital Markets Group. “Our clients will also benefit greatly from his education and public sector expertise, as well as his nearly 20 years’ experience.”
Prior to joining BLG, Dan was a partner at a large Ontario-based firm, where he specialized in responding to cybersecurity incidents, defending against privacy complaints and grievances, and freedom of information matters. Dan holds an LLB from Queen’s University, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001.
