BLG welcomes new counsel to Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Group

Julie Gauthier joins Montréal office

Montréal (May 25, 2021) — Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG) welcomes Julie Gauthier  to the firm as counsel in the Cybersecurity, Privacy & Data Protection Group. She will be based in BLG’s Montréal office.

Prior to joining BLG, Julie was senior legal counsel for a Canadian leader in telecommunications and media. In this role, she managed privacy compliance matters, supported the marketing, technology and operation departments regarding compliance issues, and prepared and negotiated commercial telecom agreements related to 5G technology. She was a member of the governance management committee and advised senior management on breaches of security safeguards.
