Canada Announces Provisional Steel Safeguards

Rewriting the story for global literacy

The members of BLG have long been champions of children’s literacy. No one better represents this value than senior litigation partner Christopher Bredt, who once again led a team of climbers up Mount Kilimanjaro in the fourth Summit for Literacy. In partnership with CODE, Christopher and a team of climbers summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in a fundraising effort to help more than one million children per year access quality education and literacy opportunities.

Since the first climb in 2006, the Summit of Literacy climbs have taken place every four years, with 34 climbers helping secure more than $2 million in support of this inspiring cause.

CODE is one of Canada’s leading international development organizations and has been focused on advancing literacy and education in a number of African countries for more than 50 years.
