BLG’s Team North® believes in the importance of giving back to the communities in which they work. On a recent visit to Iqaluit, Nunavut, donations of toiletries were delivered to three shelters — one men’s and two women’s shelters. Toiletries in the remote parts of Canada’s north can cost approximately three times more than they do elsewhere, and having items shipped can take a long time and cost a lot of money. Team North® visits Canada’s territories a few times a year and makes a point of bringing over goods that are most needed in the community.
