Don focuses his practice on labour and employment. He holds a widely recognized expertise in representing management interests in occupational health and safety matters, and in compensation-related issues for work accident victims.

He has over twenty years of experience acting as legal counsel and litigator for employers in the manufacturing, food, construction, pharmaceutical and retail sectors, in Québec and Canada. He also represents multinational organizations, as well as federally and provincially regulated employers.

His work includes:

  • providing legal counsel and acting as key advisor to the board of directors of various safety groups in Québec
  • financing and prevention-inspection
  • psychological harassment complaints
  • employment contracts
  • grievances and arbitration

Don is regularly called upon to appear in court. He has seen over 1,000 cases through to judgment before the Tribunal administratif du travail (TAT), in hearings of CNESST penal offence prosecutions before the Criminal and Penal Division of the Court of Québec, and in various disputes before labour arbitration tribunals, the Québec Human Rights Tribunal, and civil courts.

He is fluent in French, English and Italian.
