Jess Bray, an associate in BLG’s Calgary office, sadly passed away in February from Leukaemia. Jess summered with BLG in 2017, articled, and we were proud to have him join our Commercial Litigation group after graduating. During his time with BLG, Jess became an integral part of the BLG team and the Calgary area legal and sporting community. His loss has been widely felt.
To honour Jess' legacy and recognize the special person he was, BLG worked with his family to establish an endowment fund, the Jess Bray Memorial Fund. All money raised will help establish an endowment in perpetuity in his honour, in the form of an annual bursary or scholarship at his alma mater, Thompson Rivers University.
