Lauren represents and advises governments, Indigenous organizations and businesses on governance matters, dispute resolution and commercial arrangements. 

She assists clients in navigating complex legal questions in Indigenous law and building relationships with Indigenous peoples. Lauren regularly advises clients on the regulatory aspects of project development, including duty to consult matters.

Lauren also has experience advocating for clients on municipal law, environmental matters and insurance claim defence. She works with a variety of clients in the private and public sectors.

Lauren joined BLG as an associate after summering and articling with the firm. While in law school, she took part in the intensive program in Indigenous Lands, Resources, and Governments at Osgoode Hall Law School, where she worked with the First Nations of Québec and Labrador Sustainable Development Institute.
