Cory assists lawyers within the Financial Services group with tasks including:
- Executing due diligence searches in various registers, both provincially and nationally;
- Drafting search reports based on the search results;
- Preparing filings with the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights; and
- Drafting financing, security and related documents.
Cory has particular expertise in real estate financing transactions. He is also involved in real estate due diligence aspects of various financing transactions, including Québec land registry searches and negotiating title insurance policies.
Prior to joining BLG, Cory's work experience includes real estate transactions, family law, civil litigation, labour and employment, and corporate law. Cory is fluent in English and French.
