In both board and executive roles throughout her career, Beth has helped organizations navigate transformational change as a result of innovation, growth or transitions. She provides strategic advice to a range of stakeholders on:

  • energy risk and compliance
  • public policy issues
  • corporate commercial and governance matters 

Prior to joining BLG, Beth spent the majority of her career with TELUS in management and legal positions that provided a wealth of retail, telecommunication and regulatory experience.

Beth is a member of the firm's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiative. 

Experience

  • Acted for an international mining company in an acquisition in Mexico, including negotiating an international joint venture.
  • Provided strategic governance reviews, assessments and recommendations for clients.
  • Gave public policy advice and direction to clients in the energy sector.
