Glenn has a broad complex commercial litigation practice for public and private companies, with a focus on international arbitration and class actions.

She advises clients in high-value and complex international and domestic arbitrations in a range of industry sectors, including transportation, mining, securities, construction and logistics under ad hoc and institutional rules.

Glenn also focuses on competition law and capital markets litigation, including the defence of consumer class actions.

Glenn has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario. Before joining BLG, she articled and practiced at a leading full-service firm in Toronto.

Experience

  • Representing a public energy utility in a $200 million arbitration with a contractor over the design, supply, and installation of seven turbine & generator units in a remote hydroelectric project.
  • Representing Amazon in a class action brought on behalf of over 70,000 delivery drivers claiming for alleged unpaid wages and benefits.
  • Representing Amazon in various price-fixing class actions, including one of the few contested class certification hearings in a price-fixing case in the Federal Court.
  • Represented a global medical supplies distributor advancing allegations of pandemic profiteering in an ICC arbitration seated in Singapore.
  • Represented a master franchisor in the food industry in an ad hoc international arbitration advancing allegations of breach of contract and oppression.
  • Represented a global engineering firm in numerous worldwide venues facing allegations of negligence and claims for damages of nearly US$600 million.
  • Secured a successful arbitration award for a group of shareholders concerning allegations of fraud and oppression before a sole arbitrator under ad hoc rules.
  • Represented a U.S.-based railway in an arbitration with a competitor concerning operational rights and revenues from tracks between the US border and parts of Canada.
