Before joining BLG, she practiced commercial real estate law for more than eight years in large commercial law firms in England and New Zealand.

Experience

  • Advised municipalities in connection with the development of a new transit system, complex stratified mixed-use developments and disposals of surplus lands for development.
  • Acted on the acquisition of a portfolio of hospitals for a hospital operator.
  • Lead role in the New Zealand Property aspects of the Woolworths Australia due diligence, transfer and leaseback to a new REIT of $1.45 billion of Australasian retail properties, including grocery stores and shopping malls.
  • Advised Progressive Enterprises on development and leasing of its major mixed-use development at Vinegar Lane, Ponsonby, Auckland.
  • Advised Argosy Property on all aspects of its redevelopment of 15 Stout Street, Wellington.
  • Acted for a national rail company in connection with the development of a stratified development over a rail corridor.
  • Acted for a major water company on the development of surplus land including a five-phase industrial and fulfillment centre.
  • Acted for Biffa Waste Services in connection with the redevelopment of a brownfield site into an energy-from-waste facility.
  • Acted for a regional development agency in connection with the development of a new bridge and regeneration of a harbour.
