Parker formerly summered with BLG Calgary and assisted lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
As a law student, Parker helped lead ReNu Hygienics, a Manitoba-based soap recycling start-up, and sat on the City of Brandon’s Poverty Committee. Before law school, Parker worked at one of Canada’s leading wealth management companies as a personal financial planning assistant and led both the Enactus and World University Service of Canada chapters as President at Brandon University.
Parker chose BLG for its strong entrepreneurial initiative and reputation as a leader in emerging and growth-stage markets. In addition, his experience meeting with many members of the firm during the recruitment process solidified that he would be dealing with exciting work and would be doing it alongside experienced people.
In his spare time, Parker enjoys spending time with friends and family. His favourite activities include boat rides on the lake and golf.
