Jonathan is an articling student with the Intellectual Property group.

Jonathan earned his Canadian law degree from the University of Windsor and his American law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.

Prior to his legal career Jonathan was a registered pharmacist in both hospital and community pharmacy settings. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto's pharmacy school and maintains his pharmacist license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.

During law school, Jonathan was a legal intern with the University of Detroit Mercy Veterans Law Clinic. Drawing on his unique healthcare experiences, Jonathan advocated on behalf of low-income veterans who sought veterans’ healthcare and disability benefits from the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

While practicing as a pharmacist, Jonathan decided to pursue a legal career to fulfil his curiosity and interest in the intellectual property law involving pharmaceuticals. He was attracted to BLG by the firm’s strong intellectual property practice.

In his spare time Jonathan enjoys backyard landscaping and other DIY projects.
