Philippe Boisvert is a litigator who regularly represents clients before all judicial bodies in Québec, and before domestic and international arbitration tribunals. His practice focuses on complex domestic and cross-border disputes, notably in the fields of construction, infrastructure and in the enforcement of arbitral awards in Canada. He has more than 10 years of experience in arbitrations relating to infrastructure works such as nuclear and hydroelectric power plants, tunnels, roads, bridges, refineries, transportation infrastructure, etc.

Philippe is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and the President of Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP). He has been named a “Future Leader” in international arbitration by Who’s Who Legal in 2023 and 2024 and was recognized for commercial arbitration in the 2024 edition of The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory.

Prior to joining BLG, Philippe practiced for eight years in the international arbitration group of White & Case LLP in Paris. He was previously a law clerk to the Honorable Marc Noël at the Canadian Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa. He also taught contract law and sports law at the University of Ottawa.
