Philippe Boisvert is a litigator who regularly represents clients before all judicial bodies in Québec, and both domestic and international arbitration tribunals. His practice focuses on complex domestic and cross-border disputes, notably in the fields of construction, infrastructure and the enforcement of arbitral awards in Canada.

Philippe is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and the President of Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners (YCAP).

Prior to joining BLG, Philippe practiced in the area of international arbitration for eight years at a firm in Paris. He was previously a law clerk to the Honorable Marc Noël at the Canadian Federal Court of Appeal in Ottawa. He also taught contract law and sports law at the University of Ottawa .

  • Acting as Administrative Secretary to the Tribunal in arbitrations under ICC and DIAC rules
