On October 13, 2020, ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada G.P.(ArcelorMittal) and Triple M Metal LP (Triple M), two of the largest players in Canada's metal industry, announced the creation of a joint venture called Integrated Metal Recycling Inc. (Integrated), which will combine many of the recycling activities of the two partners in Québec.
BLG acted for Triple M with a team led by Nick Pasquino and Neil Hazan that included Francis Lussier and Didier Halde (corporate), Julie Belley Perron (environmental), Line Abecassis and Catherine Guertin (real estate), Michael Grodinsky (labour and employment), Kevin Bianchini (tax) and Daniel Grodinsky (disputes).
