Loreli is responsible for developing and leading People and Culture strategies while embedding Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and accessibility across Firm policies, processes and operations. She collaborates closely with Firm partners and business services leadership and members across teams, practices and regions in helping to create a welcoming, high-performance culture where everyone feels they can thrive and be authentic selves.
Loreli brings more than 15 years of global inclusion, change management and leadership development experience from leading financial and professional services firms. She also specializes in communications as well as issues and crises management honed during her earlier career in media and public relations. Recognized for dynamic presentations, Loreli is a frequent speaker on diversity, inclusion, talent management and culture change. Prior to joining BLG, Loreli was the Head of Learning, Talent and Diversity & Inclusion for HSBC Bank Canada. Loreli is also passionate about holistic health and personal development – she is a certified yoga instructor as well as a certified executive coach and has served on HSBC’s internal executive coaching faculty globally. Originally from Winnipeg, Loreli currently resides in Toronto.
