Sara has a broad litigation practice with a focus on health law, employment law, and product liability.

In addition to her broad litigation practice, Sara is also exploring the legal issues pertaining to the development and use of assisted human reproductive technologies (ART) and other medical technologies. As in vitro fertilization (IVF) and surrogacy continue to grow in Canada, this emerging field of law has cross-provincial and cross-border (US) implications that clients, like fertility clinics, must navigate to ensure successful outcomes. Sara’s previous work in family law and her continued work  in health law has uniquely positioned her to understand disputes arising in this area from a private client and institutional/corporate client perspective, such as hospitals and fertility clinics.

Sara articled at the firm, where she gained vast experience in advocacy and client service by assisting with various high conflict trials.

Prior to joining the firm, Sara held various client-centred positions in the restaurant, hospitality and supply chain industry which have developed her ability to work well with a wide variety of people and organizations.
