Julie focuses her practice in the areas of municipal and land use planning law and expropriations. She advises both private and public sector clients, including school boards, hospitals, developers, commercial and individual landowners with planning and expropriation matters. She also has a broad civil litigation practice with a focus on issues relating to real estate and the environment.

Julie has assisted with litigation files before the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly the Ontario Municipal Board), Superior Court of Justice, Federal Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal including discoveries, pre-trials, hearings, mediations and motions.

Prior to being called to the bar, Julie summered and articled at BLG before joining the firm as an associate in 2018.

  • Representing public and private sector clients in matters involving planning applications at the Ontario Land Tribunal.
  • Represents expropriating authorities and private landowners at various stages of the expropriation process
