Harjas is an incoming summer student at BLG’s Toronto office for the summer 2023 term.

As a law student, Harjas volunteers with the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, serves as a peer mentor, and is an executive member of the First Generation Network chapter at UofT.

Before joining BLG, Harjas gained legal experience as a summer student at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General. Prior to law school, she worked in various public policy and program development roles, such as at the Independent Electricity System Operator.

Harjas chose to work at BLG because of the firm’s dedication to student development, mentorship, and collegial work environment. She also values BLG’s commitment to encouraging students to explore their interests across multiple practice areas.

In Harjas’ spare time, you can find her reading historical fiction novels, trying new restaurants with friends, and watching Toronto Raptors basketball.
