Natalie practises civil litigation, with a focus on insurance defence matters involving:

  • municipal and police liability
  • motor vehicle accidents
  • occupiers' liability
  • product liability

Specifically, Natalie’s practice includes defending municipalities from negligence claims involving the design and maintenance of roads and sidewalks, construction projects, occupiers’ liability, and the operation of storm water systems. She also defends municipal police forces from actions alleging negligent investigation, malicious prosecution and breach of Charter rights.

Natalie has trial experience and has appeared as counsel before all levels of court in Ontario. She has also appeared before tribunals, including the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal and the Ontario Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.

Natalie joined BLG as an associate after summering and articling with the firm.
