Emily is a seasoned legal innovation leader with over 18 years of experience in the legal industry, and more than a decade building and scaling new functions at major law firms. In her current role, she drives growth and operational strategy for our firm’s alternative legal services business, BLG Beyond.
A true intrapreneur, Emily has twice built new functions from the ground up at major law firms. At another international law firm, she launched and scaled the firm’s Legal Project Management (LPM) team across Canada, later expanding its footprint internationally. At BLG, she started and currently leads BLG Beyond Legal Talent, a thriving freelance legal talent platform that connects vetted legal professionals with bespoke client needs. Both initiatives broke new ground in legal service delivery models, integrating client-focused innovation with practical, scalable operations.
Emily draws on her experience managing institutional client portfolios, leading client relationship initiatives, and conducting client listening programs to drive continuous improvement in client relationships.
Emily frequently speaks on legal innovation, talent strategy, and operations. She is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at EDHEC Business School in Paris.
