Annie maintains a broad litigation practice, with a focus on health, insurance, police, and automotive law. She provides strategic, results-driven solutions to help clients across public and private sectors navigate complex legal challenges.
During law school, Annie served as Co-President of Osgoode’s Asian Law Students Association, Vice-Chair of Student Caucus, and Dean’s Fellow for Contracts Law. Her leadership in law school and the community was recognized with the Dean’s Gold Key Award and Omatsu FACL Scholarship. Annie competed in the Wilson Moot and honed her advocacy skills representing clients at the Community and Legal Aid Services Program and the Investor Protection Clinic.
Annie summered and articled with BLG before returning as an associate. During her articles, Annie was seconded to the Wealth Management Group at a large Canadian bank, where she gained experience in securities regulation and compliance, and estates litigation. Prior to joining BLG, Annie worked in the Office of the General Counsel at an international law firm.
Annie is fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien, enhancing her ability to meaningfully connect with diverse clients and perspectives.
Annie is committed to supporting the next generation of legal professionals and continues to mentor pre-law and law students, in addition to coaching mock trials and mooting competitions. As Director of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, Annie regularly leads initiatives focused on professional development, mentorship and mental health awareness in the profession.
