As a Summer Law Student, Evelyn is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.
Before joining BLG, Evelyn earned her Bachelor of Art (Honours) majoring in Political Science and Labour Studies with a concentration in Public Law at Brock University.
Evelyn’s employment background includes a term as a legal summer student at CNOOC International Limited where she collaborated with external legal counsel, attended case management hearings and mediation sessions for a high-profile case. Evelyn also held the roles as a management analyst at KPMG LLP and as a law clerk at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC).
While in law school, Evelyn joined Pro Bono Students Canada as a research assistant; volunteered as a judge for the Dominion Varsity Cup Moot competition; and has been a mentor to young women interested in the legal profession through her involvement in the GirlUp mentorship program.
