As a Summer Law Student, Evelyn is assisting lawyers on a wide variety of tasks within our Business and Disputes groups.

Before joining BLG, Evelyn earned her Bachelor of Art (Honours) majoring in Political Science and Labour Studies with a concentration in Public Law at Brock University.

Evelyn’s employment background includes a term as a legal summer student at CNOOC International Limited where she collaborated with external legal counsel, attended case management hearings and mediation sessions for a high-profile case. Evelyn also held the roles as a management analyst at KPMG LLP and as a law clerk at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC).

While in law school, Evelyn joined Pro Bono Students Canada as a research assistant; volunteered as a judge for the Dominion Varsity Cup Moot competition; and has been a mentor to young women interested in the legal profession through her involvement in the GirlUp mentorship program.

Evelyn was drawn to BLG’s warmth, strong business leadership and commitment to the team’s professional development.

In her spare time, Evelyn enjoys learning how to play new sports, skincare and travel.
