As part of the Business Law Group, Valérian works on structuring and executing complex infrastructure and construction projects. He is involved in every stage of the project lifecycle, including risk analysis, contract drafting, and supporting teams during the implementation stage.
Also holding an MBA, Valérian offers his team a cross-functional perspective and a deep understanding of businesses’ economic realities. His background allows him to get a 360-degree view of his clients’ needs. By tackling challenges from a business strategy angle, he ensures that the proposed solutions are fully aligned with the commercial and operational goals of clients and contractors alike.
Known for his accessible, collaborative, and rigorous approach, Valérian prioritizes work relationships based on transparency and efficiency, thereby contributing to the success of large-scale projects at both the local and national levels.
Prior to joining BLG, Valérian worked at the infrastructure subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ Infra) and was involved in the commissioning of the REM. He also held a compliance and ESG position at Trans-Canada Capital, a major institutional asset manager.
