Yasmin is a student in BLG’s Ottawa office for the 2024-2025 Articling term. She is focusing on Disputes and Corporate law.
Prior to law school, Yasmin worked as a co-op student at Canadian Border Services Agency and Correctional Service Canada.
In law school, Yasmin worked as a caseworker in the Family Law Clinic at Downtown Legal Services. Yasmin did a semester abroad in an L.L.M. program for International and European Business Law at Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. Yasmin volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools, tutoring high school students who are newcomers to Canada. She also completed research for the David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights in their Privacy Law and Environmental Justice working groups.
In her free time, Yasmin loves painting, skiing, and reading literary fiction.
