Leonie is a student at BLG’s Ottawa office for the 2023 summer term with rotations in the Disputes and Corporate groups.
As a law student, Leonie serves as a Senior Editor of the Ottawa Law Review and is a Teaching Assistant for first year law students.
Leonie further gained invaluable practical legal experience as a summer student with the Crown Attorney’s office and as student caseworker with the Immigration Division at the Community Legal Services of Ottawa.
Prior to pursuing her legal studies, Leonie worked for the Government of Canada on a broad range of international affairs related files for various departments and agencies.
