Sashin is an Articling Student at BLG’s Toronto office for the 2024-2025 term. He is focusing on business law.
Sashin recently graduated from the combined JD/MBA program, where he received the Robert T. Donald Memorial Prize for the highest mark in Corporate Transactions. During his studies, he supported undergraduate business students as a head teaching assistant. As a law student, he served as Chair of the Sports Committee and was an executive member of the Business Law Association of Dalhousie. Sashin also represented Dalhousie in the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot and completed an exchange semester at the University of Barcelona. Prior to joining BLG, Sashin worked as a financial analyst for a leading telecommunications company.
Sashin chose to work at BLG because of the firm’s commitment to fostering a supportive environment where students and lawyers are encouraged to take initiative.
In his spare time, Sashin enjoys playing and watching sports, especially hockey, basketball, and Formula 1. He also enjoys playing guitar and exploring new genres of music.
