Michael is a summer student at BLG in Toronto. He is interested in dispute resolution.

At law school, Michael serves on the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review editorial team. As a Junior Fellow at Massey College, Michael co-chairs the College’s law students’ group. Before starting law school, Michael worked at the House of Commons in Ottawa and in the Office of the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador. A classically-trained musician and active music community member, Michael currently serves on the School of Music Advisory Board at Memorial University and as vice-chair of Calos Youth Orchestras – Newfoundland and Labrador’s pre-eminent youth orchestras organization.

Michael chose BLG because of its national, full-service scope and collegial community. The breadth of cases and clients that BLG attracts – including mandates of significant national importance – is a testament to the expertise and professionalism of its team members.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys playing orchestral and chamber music, attending live music performances, and playing recreational tennis, squash, and golf.
