Nicholas (Nick) Whitfield

Articling Student

[email protected]

Nick is an articling student at BLG’s Toronto office. He is focusing on disputes.

As a law student, Nick served as editor-in-chief of the McGill Journal of Law and Health. Prior to joining BLG, Nick worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Social Studies of Medicine at McGill University where he researched the history and ethics of surgical innovations.

Nick chose to work at BLG after meeting many of the firm’s students during the recruitment process and hearing about their positive experiences across a range of practice areas. He was impressed by the breadth of opportunity for exploring legal interests and by the friendliness of the BLG recruitment team.

In Nick’s spare time you can find him cooking new recipes, wine tasting with friends, and learning the basics of calisthenics training.
